THE BIRTH JOURNEY
Whether you are planning to birth at home or in the hospital, with midwives or a doctor, with or without pain medication, this course is for you. My goal in class is always to provide you with the information you need to be able to advocate for yourself and make informed choices that feel aligned, safe, and best for you and your baby. I want you to leave feeling inspired, connected, powerful, confident, and informed. Partners! This class is for you, too! Learn practical tools for providing physical and emotional support during labour, and know what it means to be the ‘Gatekeeper’ of the birth space! You will receive over 12 hours of in person instruction, in addition to access to an online classroom filled with extra resources, infographics, and teaching videos. This course will be held live and in-person with classes spanning 5 weeks. It can easily be moved to a virtual class should that be required.

Our society places too little emphasis on preparing for your postpartum (life after the arrival of your baby). Too often this topic is taught as an afterthought and if you ask any new parent, they will probably confess they wished they spent more time preparing for and planning how to navigate the days/weeks/months post-birth.
Join myself and Postpartum Doula, Janice Lim Hing as we shift the focus toward the conscious preparation of this sacred and vulnerable time.
We have developed a 3 week course, infusing both our expertise, for birthers/couples that includes over 7hrs of instruction as well as a 2hr in home consult with Janice following the birth of your baby, to assist you in putting your plans into action.
The preparation of your postpartum time is just as, if not MORE important as your labour and birth journey. Birth is a glimmer, but postpartum is forever.
This course is a beautiful addition to the Birth Journey Course. Partners /support people strongly encouraged to attend!
